ZoomInfo Launches Business Email Contact Tool Mike Sachoff | Staff Writer ZoomInfo a business information provider has launched a new plug-in that finds active business contacts in users' email and automatically uploads the information to the ZoomInfo B2B directory. Salespeople, small business owners, jobseekers and others who install the plug-in receive free, ongoing access to the entire ZoomInfo Database of millions of B2B profiles. The company said that during a market test of its new ZoomInfo Community Edition , more than 25,000 people installed the email plug-in, contributing approximately one million new contacts to ZoomInfo. As long as the ZoomInfo Contact Contributor plug-in is active, members get access to detailed, just-verified profiles of more than 50 million employees and five million businesses, plus tools for searching and targeting. "Only our technology innovations are capable of keeping up with the thousands of daily changes across businesses that quickly render B2B contact data obsolete,"said Sam Zales, president of ZoomInfo. "Businesses rely on accurate contact information to succeed and our new program represents a leap toward our mission of mapping the entire business landscape in real time." ZoomInfo uses a verification processes for all newly contributed data, including alerting businesspeople before publishing their online profiles and providing tools that allow everyone to enhance and control their profiles. NFEA Names Next Chief Executive Doug Caverly | Staff Writer The National Federation of Enterprise Agencies will soon have new leadership in the form of Dawn Whiteley. Yesterday, the NFEA announced that Whiteley will begin acting as the organization's chief executive after George Derbyshire retires this April. Derbyshire spent about nine years at the NFEA, so he's sure to be missed. Whiteley has an impressive resume that signals she should be more than capable of taking over the role, however. An official statement on the matter declared, "Dawn Whiteley joins NFEA from Business Link in Yorkshire where she has undertaken a variety of roles since 2008, most recently as Head of Enterprise. Dawn is highly respected within the sector and has in-depth knowledge of NFEA and its network having served for five years on the NFEA Board, including the role of Chairman for the organisation from 2008-2010." Then Whiteley herself added, "Whilst the whole of the business support sector is facing significant challenges, NFEA remains the only national network for enterprise support organisations and I'm absolutely delighted to be joining the team to take forward some of the exciting developments we have planned. I've had the pleasure of working with George Derbyshire for the whole of his time with the NFEA and want to acknowledge the role that he's played in strengthening our position and our network - I recognise that there is still much work to do, but we have some very firm foundations from which to build."
